The PVS-14 Monocular Night Vision Device provides the user with an integrated set
of components fitted with the customer specified Image Intensifier Tubes.
Rugged yet lightweight PVS-14 can be hand held, helmet mounted, or head-strap
mounted. Key features include an automatic highlight cutoff, an infrared illuminator,
an IR-On indicator, and low voltage indicator.
The PVS14 incorporates all features any monocular would require.
Due to the PVS14 being the most produced Monocular Night Vision Device in the
market, there are a variety of aftermarket solutions, accessories and capability
extensions available. Thus the system can be easily repaired, enhanced, upgraded or
receive product life extension.
Monocular Design: The PVS-14 is a monocular device, meaning it can be used in one eye,
leaving the other eye free for unaided vision. This allows users to maintain natural depth
perception and peripheral vision while still benefiting from night vision capabilities.
Multiple Mounting Options: The PVS-14 can be handheld, mounted on a helmet for
hands-free use, or attached to a rifle for weapon-mounted night vision. This versatility
makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, from navigation and surveillance to shooting and driving.
Adaptability: It can be used in conjunction with other optics, such as magnifiers or
thermal devices, further enhancing its functionality across different operational needs.
Military-Grade Construction: Originally designed to meet U.S. military standards,
the PVS-14 is built to withstand harsh environments. It is water-resistant, shockproof,
and capable of operating in extreme temperatures, making it reliable in various field conditions.
Long Service Life: The robust design and quality components ensure that the PVS-14
can endure prolonged use and rough handling, providing users with long-term reliability.
Cost-Effective: Compared to other night vision devices, especially dual-tube systems,
the PVS-14 is relatively affordable while still offering high performance. This balance of cost and
capability makes it accessible to a broad range of users, from hobbyists to professionals.
Widespread Availability: The PVS-14 is one of the most widely available night vision devices
on the market, with numerous manufacturers producing it and offering a range of options
in terms of image intensifier tubes and accessories.

With a high Figure of Merit (FOM) form 1.800 - 2.200 and a fast Auto-Gating, Photonis ECHO night vision tubes are high-quality image intensifier tubes designed for users seeking reliable night vision performance at a more accessible price point. They offer a balance between advanced features and cost-effectiveness, making them a popular choice for both civilian and professional applications, such as law enforcement, outdoor activities, and security operations.
These tubes provide good image clarity and brightness in low-light conditions, delivering a resolution that allows users to identify and distinguish objects in the dark. While they may not have the same level of performance as the higher-end 4G tubes, ECHO tubes still offer a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and decent resolution, ensuring clear visibility in various low-light environments.
Photonis ECHO tubes feature a wide spectral sensitivity range, typically from 400 nm to 1000 nm, which enables them to detect visible and near-infrared light. This broad range enhances the tube's ability to function effectively in different lighting conditions, from twilight to complete darkness.
One of the key features of ECHO tubes is their durability and reliable performance in diverse environmental conditions. They are built to withstand the rigors of regular use, including exposure to moisture, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
Overall, Photonis ECHO night vision tubes are an excellent choice for users who need dependable night vision capabilities without the premium cost associated with the most advanced models. They are particularly well-suited for situations where good performance and affordability are both important considerations
